Her dad, Mike Blaney, a former UF runner, would bring his daughter along to support his friend and former Gators coach Jeff Pigg. While she admits that she really didn’t pay much attention to the races at the time, her performance at Saturday’s 23rd Mountain Dew Invitational was attention grabbing.
